Turquoise "elephant ear" selenite on lucite.
Elephant Ear Selenite are rosette formations of crystal clusters of gypsum or barite which contain sand granis with petals or flattened crystal clutters found in unusually large sizes. Sand grains are trapped within the crystal structure, giving it a distinct texture and color variations that resembles the foliage of an elephant ear plant, hence the name. This formation has natural turquoise deposits grown on the the selenite which is incredibly rare.
The rare natural specimen creates an organic modern sculpture to grace any space.
