One of a kind brechites australis (Australian Watering Pot - found on the Great Barrier Reef) with a natural-forming mineral deposit, fossil shells, and baroque pearls on a carved wood 18th-century Italian candlestick base. The skirt on the bottom of the watering pot echoes the carvings on the candlestick base and the distressed gold leaf on the base coordinates with the baroque pearls. The two pieces are married to look like they evolved together over time.

Bought from a collector in Queensland, this specimen of sea life is rare as they now grow extinct.
