18th century Italian eucharist emblem fragment mounted on mica with garnets with a baroque pearl and topaz. The ecclesiastical fragment was original used to depict a eucharist as a decorative element in a historical church in Italy. It has IHS on the piece which in Latin means, "Jesus Savior of Humankind."
It is adorned with the silver-grey baroque pearl and topaz which perfectly matches the color and form of the piece to look as though the piece evolved together over time. Together, the elements create a historical yet contemporary work of ecclesiastical significance.
