18th century Italian silver leaf fragment with Herkimer diamonds on an antique mercury glass mirror and distressed gallery canvas. The mercury glass is adorned with crushed mica and herkimer diamonds are placed around the corners and bottom of the piece. The elements create a historically significant yet modern work of old and new.
