'Group of 6' Gilded and Crystal Encrusted Tassels (M263)
18th century Italian painted and gilded tassel ornaments with an antique fabric hook. Each have been encrusted with quartz crystals, jasper, and calcite and dusted with aged gold powders from Italian restorers on distressed aspects of the tassels to create a rare collection of ornaments.
The tassel originally came from an Italian church in Tuscany and was used during feast days. This limited edition collection creates historical holiday decorations to recreate a Rococo-style Christmas or gift as precious heirlooms.
