One of a kind brechites australis (Australian Watering Pot - found on the Great Barrier Reef) with a natural-forming mineral deposit and fossil shells on a carved wood 18th-century Italian candlestick base. The mecca shells coordinate with the paint on the candlestick base. The two pieces are married to look like they evolved together over time.

Bought from a collector in Queensland, this specimen of sea life is rare as they now grow extinct.
