18th-century Italian candlestick on chalcopyrite in matrix decorated with Brechites Australis or "Australian Watering Pot" found on the Great Barrier Reef, with coordinating natural forming copper and baroque pearls. The Australian Water Pot is a rare ocean bivalve that undergoes a unique metamorphosis, creating its one of a kind form.

The Italian candlestick, natural copper, pearls, and fossil shells are put together in a sculptural form - creating a piece that appears to have evolved together over time. Interpreting the past to create a piece entirely original, evolving in its own right.
