Petrified wood is a special type of fossilized wood. This type of mineralized petrified wood went through an intricate process that took place over millions of years. Petrifaction is the result of a tree or tree-like plants having been replaced by stone via a mineralization process that often includes permineralization and replacement.

The petrified wood is cut and polished on top and is adorned with pyrite. It can be transformed into an organic modern table and can be used as a cocktail table, side table or configured as a coffee table or shown as a piece in its own right.
