18th-century Italian blue and gilded arrow mounted on a celestite crystal cluster and adorned with baroque pearls.

The arrow was once used as part of a decorative motif in an artistic depiction in a historical Italian church. The piece shows the tail of the arrow which signifies that it was shown as piercing something or someone. It possibly could have been part of a depiction of Saint Sebastian as he is ordinarily depicted being pierced by arrows and was the patron saint of archers.

The ecclesiastical artifact was hand-carved, hand-gilded, and hand-painted blue. It has been combined with the coordinating minerals to create a historically significant yet contemporary work of organic and old.
