Sculptural 18th century Italian gilded double-mounted cross on hematite with pyrite inclusions and adorned with pyrite rosettes. A matching smaller cross is mounted onto the bigger cross to create a contemporary, 4-dimensional effect. The pyrite rosettes are placed at each point and the center of the cross.
Together, elements create a sculptural work of historic and organic significance.
