18th century Italian hand-carved angel wing mounted on titanium quartz and adorned with a natural-forming baroque pearl. The hand-carved angel wing was once part of a heavenly, angelic depiction in a historic church in Tuscany. The paint is original and the titanium quartz and baroque pearl compliment the angel wing that almost appears iridescent with the purple hues. Together, the elements look as though the piece evolved together over time.
The Italian angel wing has been put together with the minerals to create a sculptural work of old and new - creating a figurative, whimsical, and historically significant work of art.
