18th century Italian gilded tabernacle door adorned with natural forming baroque pearls. This door once belonged on a tabernacle which served the eucharist in a church. It has a carved chalice signifying the communion with rays of light beaming from the center with an angel at the bottom. The door still has the original key to the tabernacle and the inside of the door is covered in originally Fortuny fabric. It is adorned with the baroque pearls to transform the piece into a contemporary work of historic signficance.
